so yesterday, (sunday NZ time) i finally got everything right and set the NZ motorcycle land speed record on a Kawasaki H2R, we set the new 2 way record at 358.4 kmh, (222.7 mph) over a flying 1/4 mile
we don't have salt flats here, so speed records are done on closed country roads like this one, or airport run ways if you can sort it, , pretty sure this is the fastest time ever recorded on a public road here, and only a jet engine powered car on a runway has a recorded 2 way pass faster,
on board video, from the fastest one way pass at 364kmh,

That's awesome
But you all do it counter clockwise, right?
LOL
Congratulations!
With it being on a road like that, were you worried at all about animals running out in front of you? That would probably be my biggest fear.
The Shop
As the Dainese slogan always said "life begins at 140mph"
Congrats bro
Pit Row
Tell us more about the bike, looks like it can do that unlocked.
it was 303 hp at the rear wheel on pretty conservative dyno
I've done 200+km/h twice in a car (once 210, once 230) and can't even begin to imagine what that was like?!?!?!
Also 383! *I'm sure it got to 86 but wasn't able to pause in time.
Unreal.
With the altered gearing, that would put your Speedo out right? So by the Speedometer which is always wrong you’d have been over 400km/h?
Such great bikes them kwakas. The tires would be working hard no doubts.
