I think we need a new "Ridiculously Huge Reptile Pictures" subforum.

HaHa I always say ALL snakes are deadly...if they don't have venom they'll kill me from a heart attack.

I'm not afraid of snakes (terrified of spiders) but I wouldn't go anywhere near that thing.
They can really shift when they want to.

A guy was talking about an encounter on the BBC radio one time. He was having a meeting in some rural area (can't remember exactly where) and one of those fu@king things dropped down from the rafters in the ceiling, landing straight in the middle of the table. He never saw a room emptied so fast - people jumping through windows etc lol.

Snakes really bother me, man.

There is NO reasoning with those monsters.

I don't know how people can have them as pets. You can't really teach them anything. They don't even really see you, they just taste you.

Snakes! I hate snakes!

This is really funny from Jackass 3 where they put Bam Magera into a snake pit full of fake snakes and then dump a bunch of real snakes in there. Made him cry!

My youngest son absolutely loves snakes.

He comes riding up on his little 4 wheeler after playing in the ditches and woods, pops the cap off the tool kit and out launches a snake that he had caught.

I'm sitting on the bed one day watching TV when he comes in the room with a shoe box. I just assumed it was his coin collection box as he plops down on the bed and flips the box open and out jumps a snake on the bed.

Steve Irwin woulda bare-handed that sumbitch.
I grew up catching snakes, but I wouldn't bare-hand the poisonous ones since I needed my fingers for dentistry. Closest I came was grabbing a copperhead with the aid of a stick to pin him. When I was around 12 we hatched about a dozen blue racer eggs and kept the babies in my room in an aquarium. Somehow a few got out. We found one in a shoe and one in my mom's bathroom. She still let us keep them in the house tough. That's motherly love right there.

My son has been keeping a gopher snake in his room for a few years.

One time, it got loose and was missing for a few days.

One evening, my wife had a bunch of women sitting around the dining room table for a Mary Kay party, when I saw the snake slithering through the kitchen on it's way to the laundry room.

I waited 'til it was out of the women's sight in the laundry room and went in after it.

I stuck it under my shirt, planning to discretely take it back to it's tank, but as I walked through the dining room, it poked it's head out.

When the women saw it, they all wanted to hold it.

how do you manly men feel about that? Laughing

That doesn't really look real. Mambas are usually very slim and have slim heads.

Snakes that big need to be completely eliminated from the face fo the earth. I'm a little scared just knowing they exist...in fact, I think Imma call my wife just to make sure one hasn't eaten her. Smile

Black Mambas can reach speeds of something like 50mph if I remember correctly. Also, their venom is more deadly than a cobra's if I remember right.

Also, I ate fast food for all three meals today if I remember right.
