Will they light Weaver up again?

Napoli will start behind the plate tonight.

Eff the Yanks, actually Halos have a great record against the Yankees since Mike Scioscia
took the helm. 2 to 1 Halos in the 3rd right now, A-Rod went yard in the first Shocked

no Napoli
No problemo Cool I love when they beat the Yankees. For years Yankee fans outnumbered Angels fans at the Big A, but now the crowd favors the Angels (sometimes barely) and the boys have a good record against the evil empire.

I just got home, plenty of yanks people. Not nearly the numbers as we saw in the bosox series or the yankee series of years past. IMHO the Boston fans are 2x as bad as NY, I'll assume the NY people know that the A team has owned them the past 10 years. Boston people are just assholes.

I went to NY last week (on Sunday, I'd rather forget about that) and didn't catch much shit from the locals. I encounter far more douche bags in OAK than I've seen at any east coast game. Yea, the NY fans are vocal-- but, I don't seem to catch the total assholes like I do in Oakland.

The attendance is through the roof, 42k to an Orioles day game last week!?! Geez.

THunt is on fire, Vlad is getting hot and Kendrick is killing the yanks.

I'm not a big K-Rod fan and I hope his upcoming contract woes don't effect the team. He's already gone on record saying the club has 'insulted' with a 12.5m offer. Hell, I think the 10m he's already making is too much for a closer. Arredondo and Shields could easily fill Frankie's gap. There was a good article on ESPN.com talking about how closers are,"The Most Overrated Position in Sports"--I agree. The article was published the day after Rodriguez nearly blew that Baltimore game. The guy can't pitch with runners on, his velocity has fallen, and his erratic windup is prone to injury. Let him walk.

I just got the paperwork politely asking for my next years deposit (otherwise I can't get playoff tickets) by the end of next week. The same two seats I've had for 6 years will end up costing me about 250 dollars more for next year. I enjoy the teams success, but it's hard to justify buying a season at the constantly rising prices. With a better TV package every year, it's enticing to save the $$ and go buy a giant LCD and enjoy the games from home.

Remember when Percival left? How we were gonna be in trouble? Franky will go somewhere else and we will find another close. He has a violent deliver and gives up too many bombs for my liking. My blood pressure goes up every time he comes in lol. I watch them at home and catch a few games a year but season tickets are too much $$$ for me. When I was a kid I went to an Anaheim district school and we used to get free bee tix all the time, I wonder if they still do that? I doubt it.

It was nice to see them admit a mistake and sign Hunter, but ya gotta wonder if we weren't sitting 30+ over 500 if he'd still be on the roster.

I wonder if he'll make the postseason roster.

Maybe we can trade him in the offseason for a bucket of sunflower seeds and pick up half his salary.

We can't take him off the roster, he would have to approve. No trade clause through 09, then he has to approve after that. This has to be one of the bonehead deals of all bonehead deals.

Oh shit, he's bashing on season seat holders selling seats they don't use... hahah... I'm gonna call up and ask why my seats increase 250 bucks a year? I'm already dropping 5 grand for two seats, so what if I stubhub the few games I don't make it to.
