I think I'd rather have an MRE than that! Nasty sh!t.

Talking to my nephew it sounds like MRE's are a lot better today than they were 10/15 years ago.

See, another benefit of having MRE's during a hurricane crisis is............all you have to do is eat a piece of MRE bread and the MRE Cheese spread.........and you won't have to shit for about a week. Plenty of time for the sewer and water to get sorted out.

Oh yeah, no doubt. Shit is amazing now. They are magnitudes better than when I first went in........and they've become damn near gourmet in the last decade. Unless you have to live on them exclusively for a while....they get old pretty fast.
