As far as books my personal favorite is "Think and Grow rich" by Napolian Hill. Written in 1937 and is still great to this day.

I dig Joe Rogan , Jordan Peterson , David Goggins and a few others , but my favorite of all is Jocko Willink. His outlook on life , and the way he diagnoses a problem , and how he deals with it. Not just a beast of a dude , but very , very intelligent.

I love his whole idea of “good” got a problem? Good. Get to be creative and think of a solution.

Jocko Willink
Andy Frisella
David goggins
Rogan
Seth Feroce

Seth is a little less known that the others. Former IFBB pro bodybuilder now turned entrepreneur. He is one of the most down to earth simple dudes out there in that space. About as real as it gets.

A good novel Is the best self-help book. A well written one can place into the shoes of another. I like that, as it helps you feel not so alone. Realizing we all struggle. “Slaughterhouse 5” by Kurt Vonnegut is awesome and also almost anything by John Steinbeck, “the winter of our discontent” is my favorite by him. I find self-help books to be too contrived and wordy.

At the end of the day, it's the guy in the mirror that needs to put in the work to make any kind of change.
