Since the other shoe thread generated so much interest, it got me wondering what everyone’s shoe of choice is.

I’ve been on my feet for 58 years now and I finally have it figured out. For my enormously large feet I have found the ultimate comfort from DC’s with a insert. Tried most sport brands and other skate shoes and nothing keeps me feet comfy like the DC’s

My oldest son wears nothing g but Etnies, I tried those and thought I had two bricks on my feet. They hit in all the wrong places

I’m kinda getting tired of wearing the same old stuff. Any shoes you guys can recommend?

Some people can't have discussions without turning them into personal attacks, or going political.

Note: Some of the same stuff started in here, and the resulting messages are gone. If you want to post an answer, post an answer. If you want to post an answer and drag someone else into it by calling them out, that's where I start editing.

Thanks for cleaning it up Guy.

The last thing I wanted was to get it going like the other thread, of which I admit got carried away and I was part of that. I did manage to go away from it yesterday when I saw it wasn’t getting pleasant.

That being said. What does a moto photo dude wear for hiking around the brutal National tracks? You have to be using some good shoes to get you through the day. Tennies or boots?

Low-top Adidas hikers.

I had a ridiculously overpriced pair of shoes from The Walking Store that I bought this year (at my girlfriend's suggestion), and they're starting to come apart after a year of Supercross and Nationals.

I'll get another pair of Adidas for next year.

I’ve always liked the way DC has been into the moto scene. I tried some KTM shoes and although they looked great and matched my bike, they r so uncomfortable I never wear them

Asics. They're expensive little bastards but I'm on my feet all day and they do make a difference at the end of the day.

I have a set of brooks brothers I bought to work out in. They are awesome. Put so many miles on them and they still hold up today. I got the wide. They Might even be the GTS I’ll have to look. Weren’t cheap.

Man those skate shoes came and went where I’m from, I never see anyone wearing them these days Grinning My Etnies were comfy but I don’t really like bulky shoes.

I only wear shoes for running (Brooks) but I really liked my Nike Frees a few years ago. I also have some Adidas high tops I used to wear in the gym that are pretty comfy and similar to a skate shoe, but I prefer minimal shoes now

I have a pair of these for every occasion.

I always wore DVS but then couldn't find the nice chunky style in any of the "skate" brands anymore, so pluggers it is.
Their Heritage shoes (DVS) are the style I like but they don't have any white ones, I only wear white.

Oh I have my share of those too but they can screw up your feet if you don’t get the proper arch support. At least my old feet...started having trouble around 50 and the Dr said don’t spend so much time in the flip flops....it was devastating news ?

If by chunky you mean big/bulky style they still make them. I like those shoes as well.

But those have grey on them, you can't have that. White shoes only you said. You some kind of shoe racist WoohooLaughing

I'm the total opposite. Can't stand white shoes, black shoes only.

Edit: Forgot to mention, Australia is a big place but the world/internet is an even bigger place. You can find your white shoes on there. That said it probably cost just as much as the shoes to get them shipped over.

Laughing at "shoe racist" I was thinking that. No grey on the shoe itself though!
I was the same with MX boots.

Bought my first pair of Sketchers about 6 months ago, and I don't think I'll ever buy another brand. It's ridiculous how comfy they are.
