Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has the same problem lol. In the last few year I have been losing a bit of hair and it started going thinner ever since. Any suggestions? I do have hair, but it is not as thick as it once was. I have a pretty healthy lifestyle, I go to the gym, eat well and sleep 7-8 hs a day. Any advice is really appreciated!

I’ve always lived a healthy lifestyle, exercise and proper rest etc too, but losing hair is just one of the things that REALLY suck about getting older!
I’ve been lucky to make it into my 50’s before I began to really feel like crap about my hair, but my poor son is only 28 and had the unfortunate luck to get his hairline from his Mother’s side of the family and her Dad/GrandDad were both losing hair in their 20’s too! The poor kid has been shaving his head for two years now!
I have several coworkers in the same boat and most shave because that IS a “style” choice and it looks great!
One coworker says to hell with it and just rocks the hair around the back/sides of his head and tells everyone I’m not balding, I’m just taller than my hair! Haha

Good luck and hope you find something that makes you feel less self-conscious about it!
Its just an unfortunate fact of life for us dudes, no reason to change what your doing!
Just keep enjoying yourself, living a healthy lifestyle and
staying in charge of the things you CAN control, don’t let the things you CAN’T control get ya down and make the most of, and savor every second you can!
Life goes by WAY to fast to let your hair style get’cha down! 😎👍❗️

The best thing about being bald is that I am no longer afraid of going bald 🤣

I first started noticing hairloss in my late 20s . It bothered me at first being that young but I just started keeping it buzzed really short and by my late 30s just started shaving it . If you don't want to shave it all off right away just keep it buzzed real close first . As far as transplants and other so called baldness remedies I researched it at first but never tried any of it .

Had a girlfriend tell me once that the reason so many men go bald early is because of all the chemicals in shampoo. I don't know if it's true or not but I have used entirely natural shampoo every since. My hair is getting a bit thin but it's still pretty decent at 54 years old.

Hair loss comes from your mother’s side. Look at what your grandfather on your mother’s side looks like and that’s about how you’ll be.

My old boss at my last company had implants. It looked like doll hair. We started calling him Moe from the Three Stooges. 😂

While my hair has thinned as I pass my 60th decade, I'm still pretty good. Lucked out in the gene pool...I reckon.
You still have hair at 602 years old?? Strong genes from moms side of the family!

If you are truly worried about your hairloss there are ways to fix it. My ex was a dermatologist and gave me this coctail which still works very well in keeping the hairline:
1. stop using shampoo and hair products with silicone and similar things. They kill the hair follicles.
2. Use Minoxidil (regain etc) twice daily at least 4h apart.
3. Get a prescription for Finasteride. It blocks DHT from killing your hairline.
4. (advanced) get a prescription for Xalatan, and mix it in the Minoxidil. Research shows it does wonders, and is the latest addition to hair treatment apparently.

It’s a lot of work, so if you are not too bothered I would consider just letting go. The above is proven medical treatment, but a chore in the long run. If I hadn’t started I would not do this again. My hairline is ok and stopped receding. But I think I can deal with being bald tbh.

I still have tons of hair, it has just migrated.

To my neck.
To my ears.
To my back, and you should see my ass!

Get minoxidil from Costco. Cheap, comes out of the can as a foam. Apply twice a day. If that does not work. Try it for 3 months and if you don't notice any new growth, explore more options.

In South Africa they reckon fresh chicken shit from a well fed free-range Cornish Hen is the right stuff for hair growth.

Never tried it myself...my hair is thinning and going grey so I'm past caring....i resorted to shaving the ol dome to number 1.

No hair = now worries.

Good luck.

Started losing it in my mid 40s.

Worst problem was I wasn't ever a hat wearer and my dome kept getting sun burned.

Started getting my hair cut with a number 2 trimmer, and then just bought one of my own.

I have always preferred my hair short, even as a teenager. I just miss the "crew" in "crewcut" sometimes.

Would love to have a thick head of hair but i shaved it since 10th grade where i tried to bleach my long surfer hair and burned it off and just decided to shave it and never went back, then started losing hair but you couldn't tell because i shave my whole top half of my body regularly still at almost 50. I'm told i look like Kelly Slater. q ball head wise yea right i wish but I'll take it. *

Another vote for just shave it off

I've never seen any of the transplants look normal, and haven't heard of anyone having success with shampoos and the like.

One side effect of transplants is you'll go senile. But another is you'll become president.

I’ve been bald (on top) since about age twenty. My head looks like a bowling ball with a hula skirt. If people comment on it I tell them it’s because I got my hair in the men’s dept.
