Got my pins out today, it wasn’t bad at all, didn’t even feel the first three, the one on the side he had to yank it pretty hard and it hurt like a medium bitch

The dogs don’t think I’m funny anymore

Soak that foot and get all that dead skin off, you will feel better.

X10 !! When I did mine the first thing I did was go home and wash my foot ,the whole bottom of my foot came off . It looked like a babies foot , I had the tiny calf too to match.

If you can start rubbing on the scars to fire up the nerve endings in the skin to get feeling back in it. Start with just fingers or a rag. Once you get better progress to a brush. I never learned this till many surgeries later.

No. When I had surgery on my ankle, I took it off early. It needs time to fully heal. Also, a cast protects it. Imagine tripping or accidentally kicking something. I can, I did both.

Three weeks since I got my cast off, been walking pretty normally, even put my gear on and rolled around at perris on the vet track last Wednesday just so when I’m ready to moto it will be less awkward, my dogs I’m more worried about, the little one used my foot as a launch pad this morning, dug her toe nail right into the scar on between my toes, great thing to happen while on your way to make a cup of coffee...I had this tiny bit of scab left that went very deep and it finally healed enough to where I could pluck it off.
I have some numbness on the top of my little toe and above where the plate and screws are, toes still don’t bend down very far but I feel like they will loosen up with PT

I’m pretty pumped at the speed I’m getting back around and finishing projects that have been neglected, and it could have been much worse, below is a picture of Jeff alessi feet, he did this right before he turned pro, it’s amazing he was able to do as well as he did with almost no mobility

Don't worry about thumbs down. Who cares what people think who don't have the balls to say anything to your face. Glad to see your recovering well.
