Yeah it's been wild in Southcentral Alaska the last several weeks. I don't know a whole lot about weather systems in Kodiak but they're in a weird place, so close to the Gulf of Alaska and the northern Pacific but still close enough to the mainland to get the arctic weather too

I’ve been to Paxson many times- looks like they are the coldest ..A couple of the coldest places I’ve spent time are Tok, AK and Thompson, MB.

11-26 is was 7 with wind chill in Chicago 3.30 am to 3pm delivery to China town on south canal st

Holy crap! Our forecast for yesterday/last night was for something like ‘up to 4-8”’ of snow over a 36 hour period.

Started snowing lightly around 6PMish at my house, but it was very light and intermittent.

Woke up this morning about 5AM and there is a fresh 24”+ ‘dusting’ on the ground. And it’s still snowing pretty good right now, too! This will likely be a record 12 hour period for us if they keep the data in 12 hour increments. If the snow continues like it is now, could probably challenge the 24 hour records I would imagine.
