obama said the election in Iran could bring new hope and change. (Sound familiar?)
What happened? Were they not listening?

I guess not because ak-me blow-my-job won agian, and their shooting at protesters.

Barry's a little slow to react to all this.

I think every bodies response is a little slow because this thing could blow up big and no one wants to get shit all over them.

Its all very predictable and in the end they usually vote with tanks over there for the most part.

My wife has close family in Iran. They sat on their rooftop for 4 hours watching Tehran burn. They're obviously scared.

That's all I have to add, other than "Akma-don'tyouwishyourgirlfriendwashotlikeme-nijad" is my favorite nickname for him so far (Colbert).

After all the lectures given on how wrong it was not to have talks with Aqua-Velva-dad, and how America should have been in Tehran talking with him 8 years ago - I think HRC should be on a flight over there yesterday to get these talks that were touted as a new beginning for American foreign policy underway immediately .....

If you're bound and determined to make sure AJad wins this, the best way to do that is to have the US President saying something stupid that could be construed as taking sides. Thank God McCain didn't win - an American president talking about a "sham election" just gives AJad an opportunity to use America as the great Satan who's trying to manipulate Iran's government. Ajad would LOVE that.

You know how guys say "you can't win the title in the first race, but you can lose it in the first race"? Well, we can't make the reform movement win, but we can make it lose by backing it with a bunch of inflammatory rhetoric. Of course, all conservatives HAVE is inflammatory rhetoric, so that's what they do. There's a difference between ignorance and stupidity - ignorant people who never learn are, definatively, stupid.

That whole episode of Gore whining, and people looking at ballots, and if a vote was not recorded,it "obviously" was a Gore vote.
That was such an embarrassment, and Mr. Bush was very dignified through the whole debacle.
