I like WEC. Try and watch it every time it's on. Urijah Faber is a pretty good fighter.

Faber will face Jens Pulver in a couple months
I hope Jens smashes his pretty face

Jens will get his ass handed to him , Faber is top 3 pound for pound in the world right now imo! I like Doug Marshall, will be pull'n for him, Stann is a bad mudd'r fudd'r though ! Should be a war, a short one I think.

I hope Stann gets his ass kicked too. Can't stand that fugger. Waiting for someone to kick Faber's ass too but I don't think Pulver is the guy.

Dave, did you happen to catch a show the other night on Discovery called "Time Warp"? They used super slo-motion cameras to show what the body goes through while taking a punch. It was pretty badass!

Here is a clip of it:

Great card again for the WEC fight tonight. I am real excited to see the Alessio/Larson fight. Larson whooped up on Kevin Knabijan and then got his butt handed to him by Condit. It all depends which Alessio shows up for the fight. BTW, Sunday June 1 is when Faber and Pulver go at it. Cant wait for that one!

It is safe to say he got worked. Get use to Stann, I have a feeling he'll be around for awhile

[color=#0000FF:19hbkbti]I would second that on Stann, but I don't think Marshall "got worked". He got caught by a fairly lucky left, but it was pretty even up to that point. Not too many challengers in this division at the moment, anyway, so Stann will probably be around for awhile. I don't get all the hate for Faber. The kid is skilled, hungry, clean-cut, & well spoken. A little arrogant, maybe, but aren't they all? He showed a lot of class & respect last night when questioned about Pulver. Same goes for Stann...I like the guy. The Sonnen/Baker fight was pretty good, as was the Crunkelton(sp?)/Gomez fight...Baker & Gomez both proved they could take a lot of punishment & keep on going. Baker needed to be knocked back a notch, any way. Gomez took a beating, but continued to push 'til the end. I hope they get up-to-the-minute blood tests on these guys, 'cause Crunkelton had more of Gomez' blood on him than Gomez did. I haven't seen bleeding like that since the last CNN special on the economy. WEC is great & the fact that it's not all played-out pay-per-view makes it even better...//TJ[/color:19hbkbti]

I saw some videos of Faber training with B.J and getting schooled worse than Pulver did. It will be an instresting fight for sure.

No doubt that Faber has skills. He was very respectful toward Pulver last night but he is usually a cocky little SOB.

I actually thought Marshall was winning last night until he got caught with that left hook. That was a hell of a punch that would have knocked anyone down.

Sonnen kicked Baker's tail. The only shot Baker had was getting the arm bar and he almost got it once or twice. Crunkleton v Gomez was an excellent fight as well.
