39 years ( +11 more as the Senators) of abject futility.

(Yeah. And I don't give a rat's ass about your non-moto BS. The year the Rangers came to town is the year I started racing. I've been calling them the "Strangers" most of that time. No more. Close enough to moto for me.)

This is going to be one of the best books ever written about a sports team.

Don't worry, the Giants will annihilate them.

A team with a 52 Million dollar budget who was literally bankrupt earlier in the season just beat a team with a 207 million dollar budget in 6 games convincingly. I'm sure Disney will be all over this in 30 years if they win the World Series.

Say they go up 3-0 in the series, I say Nolan Ryan should suit up and start game 4. Saw him throw out the ceremonial first pitch about a week ago and it looks like he can still bring it. Laughing

I have always liked the Yankees. But i'm glad they lost. I would rather see teams that haven't been or haven't been in the world series in a long long time play.

You guys probably ought to worry about the defending NL champs, first.

Last year it was the "Aint's", this year the "Strangers". I hope the Rangers win it all. Josh Hamilton is a class act.

Should be optimistic. The Rangers recovered from W. Maybe the economy can to.

Knda funny watching everyone around here jump on the "bandwagon" now, probably the
same one's who acted like they were big hockey fans back in 99, when the Stars won it all.

Check.

I hope the Giants take it easy on them, don't want you guys to get as up set as the Phillies' fans did last night......

I don't think you can get anymore "set up" than the Giants fans did in 2002. Dusty was already giving out gameballs and icing champagne.
