I've been loving Pulp's Soundcheck Podcasts lately. I'm very much into music and love getting a glimpse into different genres that people are passionate about. I spend a lot of time at my desk after work while working on my own personal projects and like to give new things a listen. However, I often find myself listening to the same genre of my personal tastes so I figure this would be a great place to ask for some recommendations on your top 10 tracks.
You don't need to break down each song like he does in the podcast but feel free to post why you like the songs/artists or a quick background of how you got into say the band or genre. I'll put together a list of my own shortly but I'm curious to what you guys are into!

I mean if you absolutely hate country music or jazz or whatever else there's no point in posting any of that music on here.
The Shop
Basically a way I, or anyone really, could get a quick hour playlist of someone's top 10 which is a lot cooler IMO than a random shuffle on Spotify or whatever. If the thread sucks, we'll just let it die and fade away. No harm, no foul... To piggy back your last post, I purposefully left out my personal preference so anyone who wasn't into that genre wouldn't want to post. I'm open to listen to anything since I spend 90% of my day listening to radio/podcasts/music.
I know there was one somewhere...lol
