So this afternoon I'm helping a friend at the vintage races at Road America like I've done dozens of times. Is it dull usually not but there is a routine to the day. Well that got shattered during the CanAm race as you'll see. My perspective was quite brief as the glimpse I saw was about a half second of a car sliding upside down still going at least 60 past the opening between the haulers. And we ran to help.

Dumbreck's blow over was insane.
They are both extremely lucky.
Jim's throttle stuck during his slide, which was at least 300 yards ... that was the first thing that caused me to look to the track. It banged the wall in at least two places that they had to move the barriers back into place by a few inches.
