It`s already full steam. USA overtook Russia as a main gas supplier of Europe few month ago. USA is bringing loads of gas over here.

Unless we start playing 4d chess the pipeline destruction seems like the last thing Russia would want. The pipelines existence was a bargaining chip that favoured Russia and they could turn it on and off at their end way easier than today’s operation.

Why isn't russia and its allies (if it has any? Didn't China just tell them to stop the war?) on an economic island at this point? Completely cut them off from all exports/imports...screw 'em...

Or is the worry that Putin will just fire off some nukes? (It has to be that, right?) Someone needs to put some lead in that mans skull....

Russia is on an economic island as far as the west is concerned . But China and India are still buying cheap Russian oil . South America wants nothing to do with what they see as the continuation of the Cold War . Hard to blame them , considering what they experienced during the height of the Cold War . Africa seems to be on the fence ? Middle East is loving the price of oil . China has always held the power to decide when this war ends . They can really cut off Russia from any remaining access to financial systems .

You know what's interesting. We promised to protect Ukraine if they got rid of their nuclear weapons. Ukraine sent those nuclear weapons to Russia as agreed upon.

Now Russia is threatening to use those against them. And USA is just sending weapons.
