Well, things got started this morning and so far, Lance looks good as does Levi Leipheimer. I didn't realize until today just how deep the Astana team is. It's almost like one of the USPS teams from a few years ago when they were loaded with talent, speed, and power.

Looks like we'll have a god race this year.

Astana should control things. Many days ahead, I would like to see LA do well but Contador should win. This kind has the same feel when LeMond had Hinault "working" for him.

A god race? Between Armstrong and what other god?

Cavendish wins first sprint. Where was Husvold(sp) ? Farrar, an American, was second. Cavendish seems to be he man at this point in time, of the sprinters. Answered own question, he was 4th.

Cavendish takes another. Hushovd (sp) was on his wheel and had nothing for him.

I see Cavendish taking every sprint this year. He is that strong!! Nobody is in his league at the moment. And not sure they can get their legs before the tour is done.

Armstrong has his work cut out for him this tour. He is not the favorite this time, this tour has the makings of being great. Several riders looking to dethrone the king and they have the skill to do it. It's not 2005 anymore.
