you know Titan. I pegged you to be a pretty a good and strong willed dude, even if we don't see eye to eye on the LDS church. but I never thought you were a chicken shit dude that would not stand up for his religion and his beliefs...wrongs as they may be. But i guess you are just like the rest....bummer.

now answer the question and take yer licks...lol

I have no problem believing there was a carpenter dude that was just human like everyone else that used to live in olden times named Jesus, and some other dude that was just bored decided to write a story making shit up.

What blows my mind and makes me question all followers sanity is how they think some ordinary dude, and a carpenter at that, (sorry all you chippies), can control shit from beyond the grave????? Its just uncomprehendable.

And once again BobbyM proves he is worse then any religious zealot out there.
Bobby you ever get tired of constantly forcing your religious viewpoints on others?

you know what scares the shit out of folks like you?

if it could be proven without a doubt that there is or is not a god it wouldn't scare me at all if it it went either way.

but folks like you would be scared shitless and feel worthless with no point in living if it was proven that there wasn't a god.

you dig what i'm saying?

that's the difference between me and you. i'm good with it either way

LOL you arent even close to being right. If It was proven that there was no God I wouldnt sweat it.

If you found out that there was a God and he had been reading every post youve made bashing him and those that believe him, im sure you'd feel a little upset.

I don't need a god to help me feel safe and secure, I worship him because I believe he exists and deserves to be worshipped

My problem with you Bobby has nothing to do with you not believing in god, thats your personal choice. My problem with you is that you bash away all day on people who are believers calling them crazy, and talking down to those that evangelize in some way, shape or form. Youre such a hypocrite its not even funny. If the religious posters on here made HALF as many religious topics as you, you would be going off on them saying they force their beliefs down your throat. Do you get what im saying? If you get bored some day, scroll through these boards a little bit and see if you can tell those that push their viewpoints the hardest.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, I havent been at my computer much today.

When we all die...I would rather be wrong with my thinking...than to be in your shoes and be wrong with your believes.

huck, that is the one statement that I hate and leads me to believe that believers are believers for that "just in case there is a god" bullshit... I hear that better than half the time I have a religious conversation with someone. "If I die and I am wrong..."

I even saw a bumper sticker with that saying, right next to the little fishy symbol. What a ridiculous argument. I'd rather go through life, confident in my beliefs rather than fake a belief just in case I'm wrong.

It doesnt really matter for those that believe that way. "Faith without works is dead"

Were did I say that I believe the way I do..."just in case there is a God"?

I believe what I do because I know there is a God.
I have no "fake" beliefs. I'd rather be mocked for my beliefs, than to try and hide or change them for personal gain.

let me say this. i do not belittle a god. i have felt the touch that i cannot describe but i will belittle peoples know it all attitude when nobody...not one person knows what is out there. not one. yet they try and stuff their interpretation down everybody and societies throat. that burns my ass.

Okay I respect that, your view is different from what I thought it was. But, since like you said, no one has any proof, why are you so hard on the mormons? They are doing what they believe to be right. And I honestly do not see the difference between them knocking on your door to share their beliefs, then you making a thread about your beliefs, or questioning their beliefs. Both have the same option of just not opening it.

BobbyM, I can't believe I am saying this, but I agree with you. No one knows what is out there to the degree that they can prove it to someone else. Yes, some people's process of sharing what they feel is the truth can come across as annoying. So, can your belittling of them. Did it occur to you that some people experience peace in their personal life through a certain faith and feel strongly that through sharing it others can feel it as well? I get your annoyance at this, but you really come accross like an ass by the way that you do it. Hopefully you understand what I am saying.
