This is from a trip in June to Moab. They are happy because we are letting them on the bed at the cheap hotel.
Maiden the rottie, we got from the shelter 2 years ao when she was 4. She's a lover and a leaner, loves her daddy.
Pepper the McNabb is 7. We've had her since she was 9 months. She was brought to the vet clinic my wife worked at then. She had a broken leg at the time. She was rescued from a hording situation. She can fetch for hours, catch frisbees and loves mountain biking. She was supposed to just be a foster. Fail.

Steve is an American Bully. Surrendered at my wife's clinic because the owners couldn't afford to treat his pnumonia. He's bigger now than in this photo, 15 pounds and 15 weeks old. He's a little shit.

Fredrick turns 1 on the 13th. He was an emergency c section on Friday the 13th and his heart stopped for 30 min. The gf performed cpr and mouth to snout the whole time until he came around. The woman that owned the dog didn’t want to bottle feed him or deal with all the feedings so we fostered him and we all know how that works out lol.

Big Mac Truck or sometimes Big Mac and Cheese.
So proud of our perfect man. Always such a gentle good boy with all the other animals here. Really such a pleasure since day one and we feel so lucky to have him in our lives.

Sometimes more than she should.
I can call her off most of the time, but sometimes she just wants to go big.

Funny or sad, depending upon how you see it, "Godammit" usually stops her.

Mine isn't a working dog but she does a good job of making sure there's no cows anywhere near the fence at anytime, no matter how annoying I find it haha.. but if she's out the front and sees one and I don't call her off early enough she's after it and hangs off their tails and shit haha.. Sometimes she'll come back all happy with herself with strands of tail stuck in her teeth haha

Hey jemcee, serious question. I've never been to Australia (though it is bucket list item), so I really have no clue, but is the Australian Shepherd breed big in the country? I mean, is it the most common dog people own there?

Ah well by Australian Shepherd do you mean the longer haired breed? Like a Border Collie (and the various mixes)?
A lot of people have them as pets cause they're a great dog and super super smart.. They are definitely popular for working with sheep, but no I wouldn't say it is the most common.
Actually I don't think I could confidently say what the most common breed here is.
I mean I reckon I could safely say the Kelpie would be the most common working dog! Those things are incredibly smart incredibly tough and will work until they can't stand anymore..

Everybody has a dog here and it's all types haha
