We almost ended up volunteering for the medical crew for this festival. My wife really wanted to. I kind of wanted to, thousands of half naked girls running around all day long in the desert. What could go wrong? Well this is what happens when you combine crazy amounts of drugs with a huge fire.

That would have been on one of my wife's shifts. I couldn't imagine. They had to wait for the fire to slow down before they could even rescue him.

I read some articles on that festival. Seems like a drug and fuck fest.
On the surface, sure, sounds fun. But not really the more I read about it.
Talk about the holy grail of people watching.

It's amazing how burners are all about loving the earth, the arts, and each other. But as soon as the event is over, they don't give a shit about anything and leave trash everywhere and also have crap fall off their dust covered cars and RVs all the way home. I live so close but I don't think I'll ever attend.

More importantly is that it's always the same weekend as the "Best in the West" rib cook-off and I'm not missing out on some delicious ribs.
