The strange case of Bruce Ivins (the Anthrax mailer)

A big argument against Ivins is that he submitted Anthrax samples deliberately that did not match the mailings. But oops, it came out he submitted multiple samples. He had no motive or prior indications whatsoever (sound familiar?), was a devout church-goer and Red Cross volunteer. There is no physical evidence against him. His colleagues said there were no signs at all and one of the witnesses against him ran with biker gangs and did meth and PCP, and knew him for six months.
As for his suicide, it's a common misperception that death by self OD is easy. It's actually really hard if you want to kill yourself. The thing reeks of cover-up bullshit.

Which gets to the controversial topic of how the government builds BS narratives that the media spews as truth. It's happened over and over again. It's fascinating to me that people go down in history blamed for things when there is scant evidence and a clear cover up. Who mailed the Anthrax anyhow? The feds did trace it back to a US military facility and blamed it on a lone nut. Mmmkay...
