Sold my 2 Hondas 2012's 250f & 450f when I moved back to Ohio from Florida...

They were not even a year old... Honda 4 strokes suck... Thinking about a new 250 2 stroke... I'll see if there's anything new for 2017 in the 2 stroke world...

60% of those I wouldn't put in the top 100 let alone the top 30.

AC/DC shook me, Pantera cowboys from hell, and Led Zep black dog are the only ones that speak to me.

I'm not a huge music guy, but buckethead amazes me. Fantastic stuff he puts out. I like all of them in video from OP.

I know one thing though, 40 years from now there will be no "best beats of all time" list. Because they all sound the same.

BASS BASS BASS LOTSA BASS BASS BASS repeat.

And I wouldn't be able to recite lyrics on that list like I'm doing to this OP video!!!

How the f*ck is there not one Van Halen riff on that list? Four GnR riffs, three Nirvana, a freaking Survivor riff and not one MFing Van Halen riff?!

This one kicks the doodie out of anything the White Stripes ever thought of. https://youtu.be/qFhM1XZsh6o?feature=player_detailpage
That's funny, my sister was trying to tell me about this band the other day.

"They do Mississippi Queen."
"Never heard it. I don't think."

Well, I was right. If the guitar lick 10 seconds in was repeated, that would be a really cool riff. I don't know what's considered the song's riff though.

From someone who largely ignores classic rock due to contrasting preferences (though I admit the Purple Haze riff is freakin cool), here are my favorites. My rule is the more fun it is to hum without the music, the better the riff, with the exception of Where is my mind, which is zero fun to hum without music but puts me in a happy place with it.

Where is my mind, Pixies
Plug in baby, Muse
A pillar of salt, the Thermals
Silent Flight Parliament, BTBAM
Normal Person, Arcade Fire
Standing in the way of Control, Gossip, which is subdued in most versions, but in this one you can really hear it
https://youtu.be/74FHIBtWvi0
Take me out, Franz Ferdinand
Offend in every way, White Stripes
White people for Peace, Against Me!
The meaning of Life, The Offspring

And a special shout out to 52 Girls by the B-52s, whose riff Judas Priest totally ripped off for Breaking the Law!
