Better be worth it. Don't and won't ever understand how a pole saw with less cc than my Stihl chainsaw costs around the same. Was impressed by how light it felt though. Plus the length of the telescopic pole was impressive. Tired of ducking and diving cutting grass and a little fall clean up is needed

Got one here this spring. Went with the Kombi setup. Plus the extra extension. It wasn't the biggest engine (90? Forget now without being in front of it), but I was super impressed by its ability. Thing just grunts right through. Quick.

Now I'm thinking about the fancy hedge trimmer attachment too - would be handy for trimming off lots of young bushes. Sickle mower, like. But it's like $350 up here, just that one attachment.

Been using one for over 10 years and its still going strong. It will give you an upper body workout like you never had !

Just read the manual.... best ways to avoid kickback is to avoid kickback situations per the manual hahaha. Who would have thought, but thanks for the direction

Sweet! I have a Stihl KM130R and the pole saw will be my next attachment along with the extension.

Them things are bad ass but you can get into trouble by trying to reach too high. Bent mine that way. Somebitch.

your shoulders will feel it after use but I have 2 of em and they work great plus hold their value pretty well if you decide to sell. Not a fan of Stihls 4 stroke engines but its acceptable in this saw.

Feeling it for sure.

Quick update for those on the fence purchasing one like I was.

Worked like a charm and was surprised at how well it cut. Workout for sure, but I could see me using this more than my saw for simple cuts. One thing, that took me off guard was the blade tensioning screw. Tighten in the opposite direction opposed to my saw. Thought it was stripped for a moment.

Would purchase again and I'm surprised how well it worked. May not be able to tell from the pics, but I used it on a bunch of limbs.

Stihl's are worth the coin, I'm fairly certain you'll never need another. I've had to trim the canopy quite a bit this season due to all the rain, and may have to do more after....The big event. Good looking scenery you have there btw.

I bought a cheap electric pole saw and it does a great job,will buy a gas model soon. I have a lot of trees and I also bought a chipper for the small stuff.

I always use interlocking fiberglass poles with a traditional handsaw blade attached. After 22+ years in just about every type of forestry related job, I have found it is the easiest, cheapest and only way you will reach way up. Plus it won't conduct electricity if that is a concern.

They really are handy. Doesn't matter what kind. Should have many years of use. Keep ethanol out of it if possible or treat and never use a ladder to reach up higher no matter how tempted. Bad things WILL happen.
