Its a shame that people started bringing abortion into it (I assume that's why it got clipped) because I was enjoying the conversation as well.

I'll say, and you can choose to believe it or not, but I never set out to deliberately provoke anyone. I think that because my views are in such contrast to most around here that it naturally gets people rilled up.

That and because I currently reside in Los Angeles. For some reason I get called out on that quite a bit.

America and the world need less polarisation not more, it started all positive with the rally for equality earlier this year but after Charlottesville It went really of the hook, I really hope this event is a week up call and people find again some common ground and move away from all the hatred and extremes so contraproductive Us vs. Them mentality. Why worry about things that doesn't interfere your life? guess I'm too much of a

So is anyone gonna chance starting a new thread for pertinent information related to the horrible event that happened in Las Vegas? I saw on my local news last night that now the "authorities" believe that it was at least planned by more than one person.

If one person in particular would quit antagonizing people these threads would last. We all know your position bud, give it a rest.

People think that guy brought all those guns there for his own personal use. Who was egging him on and who all failed to show up for the party? It sure made for a great photo opportunity for the anti gun crowd on the eve of the Hearing Protection Act. Evil black guns, evil slide fire stocks, evil high capacity magazines and then they start in on "if he had a evil silencer". I do appreciate the fact that our president didn't push an agenda over the victims as has been done so much in the past. Cooler heads and all.

I wish Nerd's thread was still up. I didn't dig through it enough to get wrapped up in all of his shadow government thoughts. Unlike some others here, I don't keep files of screenshots from posters threads.

One person didn't cart all that hardware up there to just rattle through a couple mags and then top himself. My tinfoil is still packed away after the flood by the way, actually I think it was thrown away. Been eating out a lot but will put some on the shopping list.

There is a lot of logic in what you are saying here. Viewing this event en toto makes the rational thinker realize the whole thing is very, very suspect.

I didn't read through the entire first thread, but one theory I heard was that ISIS claimed responsibility because he was there selling guns to them and they set him up, which would make us look like idiots and partially responsible. We will see how it shakes out.

I still don't really believe the multiple shooters in the hotel room theory.

This is definitely hearsay, but I know a nurse who used to work in Vegas and she said there were less successful shootings at other casinos that night that weren't publicized. It seems far fetched, but we'll see. She knows a lot of ER nurses in Vegas.

Don't flame me too bad, just sharing what I've heard.

Serious question. Do you honestly believe that everything is nice and dandy and there should not be anything done to the fact that a civilian person has tools available to him to shoot up 600 people in 9-11 minutes?
600 shot is not couple mags. If he was not found that quick, he would keep on shooting the crowd. His last time he spent shooting at the door. 200 bullets were shot in to the door. It`s a miracle casino security guy was shot just once.

Agreed, although questioning things around here usually have a bad ending. I'm not saying that anything other than what has been fed to us isn't the truth, just saying that I keep an open mind on things that are very suspicious to me. It's actually a relief to come on here and read others opinions on things and take them into account when making a personal decision. As much as I dislike some of your guys posts, I do read them and they do hold some importance to me. Sucks when a WHOLE thread with some good information is shit canned because people can't stay on topic.

Ha, Canuck? No, funny you should ask, though. I'm in that area all the time, right beside the Port of Vancouver. Actually wanted to stop yesterday and look for him, but decided I was a little pressed for time. My woman is flying to Calgary tomorrow night, likely load up my Yukon and head that way. Be like everyone else, a PITA tourist, driving 20mph under the speed limit, needlessly jamming the brakes on for every curve.
