Very nice! Mako's are great boats! Are you thinking about picking it up?

My best friend just bought it - we are gonna make a quick road trip to Key Largo and get it.

Will spend most of the time at his house at Lake Limestone but we definately will be taking it to the coast too.

I can't believe how cheap it was. That seemed very reasonable.

Ive had a boat before and that is partly true. But hard core fishing nuts like my buddy arent like typical fair-weather boaters. He is fishin' no matter how cold or how hot because he loves being on the water wetting a hook. At our age, we will prolly bury his barnacled ole butt in that Mako. Pretty much like old MXers that like to ride even though they hafta go slow - he will always have at least one boat around. I can assure you I will never part with my '05 RM250 and will be ring-dinging around on that thing till they plant me in the clods.

He already has two boats and a fixer-upper 1955 Chris Craft all-mahogany yacht exactly like this one:

Theres one for sale exactly like his:

They came with the paint on them, but you can refinish the mahogany with only a sealer for a natural look.

I really want a center console. I was looking at a 22' MayCraft with the Etech 2 stroke. Awesome boat...

Good hull. I used to have a Cabo 22, used the crap out of it until the kid got into hockey and sold it. Very sea worthy also, if I had to do it all over , I would look for a Parker . Much drier ride. It is much more economical to go out on the Fisherman Landing fleet though. Good find for your friend.

Not to discourage you from getting an etech but my dad fishes alot of bass tournaments and said the Etechs are one of the heaviest and most unreliable motors out there. He would most like take Yamaha and then Mercury.
