Show us your cat!!

I dunno if this is ever been done before so I thought why not. I’m more of a cat person, I know some people for some reason hate them but I find them fascinating. So for car lovers out there, show us your feline friends.

Here is my gf’s cat (kind of mine as we live together now). He’s name is Charlie, he’s approximately 8 years old. Even though he’s all white we believe he’s just your regular moggie cat. We love him to bits.

Found this bad boy on a roof of our shed a week ago. He was calling us. His mom was in a very bad shape, skin and bones. No way she could feed him, I think she was hit by a car cause her rear leg wasn`t moving. We took him in. SO MANY FLEAS!!! Took him to doctors couple of times, he`ll be alright. After three days he was sleeping in my lap.He went to litter box right away, never pissed on a floor(I`m sure our old cat ain`t happy about him using hers). So far hardest been getting him and our 14 year old gramma together. He`s had a few slaps to the face already. He ain`t scared.

I tend to lean more towards cats as well. I like dogs and would like another one someday when I have time. I ended up with 3 cats tho. Roxy an ex and I adopted. A few months later Josie I found under the hood of a car at work when she was a tiny little kitten. Those two are 12 years old. Josie is super chill and likes to play fetch. Colby is 6 and I found her as a little kitten with a broken paw that had already started to heal and had nerve damage so the vet said leave it or cut it off at the shoulder. She hobbles around just fine on it and nobody wanted to adopt a handicat so I kept her and she’s happy.

I found two more kittens at work last year, but luckily I was able to adopt them out.

Our current cat picked me. We went in "To look" at kittens .Laughing He was the second one I picked up. He crawled up my shirt, touched my nose with his nose, curled up under my chin and started purring. ....sold...
Him and our dog are best friends. He does have an attitude though, he'll make you bleed for fun ShockedLaughing

He's 21 pounds now, and he likes to stir up shit. His name is Amigo

She was found on the side of the road somewhere with her little babies. The person that found them brought them to a shelter. The babies all found homes within days.

No one wanted her because she's a black cat and some people believe it's bad luck. She was close to being put down, but we took her in. She's the most friendly/cuddly cat we've ever had.

Good Ole' Maryjane here. Love this little turd. She's helped me out with more than I'll admit here. Originally got her to be a friend to my sisters older cat, but he passed not longer after we got her. Then, she just decided to stick around. Never had an animal follow my every move quite like she does.

Beautiful kids and pets, Rob!

I don't know much about cats, but the Toyger looks to be quite large.

I never had cats but my daughter made us get one. I put it off for a couple years then she finally pinned me down. The cat turned out to be a really good addition, but she thinks she is a dog

My wife and I were always "dog people", but after our Vizsla of 14 years passed away, we are just going to stick with cats for awhile..... Pita (the grey one) rode home in the engine compartment of my work truck when he was just a few days old. Scared the shit out of me when i heard him flop out on the driveway when i got home. 100 degree day and he was warm as hell, but survived. Flynn (the orange one) was surrendered after the previous owner nearly beat him to death. Few vet visits and lots of love from the girls and he is a happy boy! Took them awhile to get used to each other, but now they are inseparable...

This is Elsa, named after the Disney character from Frozen. She was a stray that had been hanging around my wife’s place of employment. She was very timid and afraid of people. Once they figured out where she was hiding out at (an old storage shed with a hole under the door) they were able to feed her and provide warm bedding. This was dead of winter and it was brutally cold, below zero and she wasn’t looking good. After a few days she was pretty weak from the cold and my wife was able to pick her up. The rest is history and she is now a fat, warm house cat.

Sprocket -

Found him as a lost kitten hiding under an empty house. Or rather he found me. He adapted quickly to the good life and grew to be a big bruiser at 20 pounds. He had the lynx tufts going on his ears when he was young.

Got a vid somewhere of him rousting an entire family of deer that were coming into the back yard. Too funny to see him strut back to the house after he forced them to turn back and leave "HIS" yard. lol

Boy did he love showing off his moves to me. Launch up a tree, giant leap to the roof, launch off the roof onto a storage shed, etc. And then, just like a little kid, the look back to make sure I saw it. haha

My two terrors... Smokey and Kitten (the big blonde one)
They were rescued from Spain after being dumped in a stray cat colony(pack) as Kittens by cat breeder aged about 9 weeks. Presume these were two that never sold. Pure bred Ocicats, which is half Siamese and Abbysianian cats.
My Sister lives close and rescued them and we bought them back here to a nice life.

As many may know, stray/ feral cats in Spain actually form colonies, like gangs, often near rubbish sites etc, so they can scavenge food etc, guess safety in numbers and they are social beasts somewhat anyway. Its very sad to see these stray cat colonies in Spain. The colonies are also containing Pure bred cats, like Siamese, these two (Ocicats), Burmese and Persians, all sorts- actually expensive cats- its very sad.
Same with Dogs- my mother rescues animals from Spain mainly and you would not believe the expensive breeds we have rehomed- French Bulldogs, Huskies and more, proper pure breeds. People often get them as 'status symbols' or something and then decide they do not like all the work that goes with owning a pet and turn it loose on the street. Very sad situation.
My two are very friendly things- albeit quite demanding little devils- want to do EVERYTHING you do- follow you everywhere! haha
The blonde one weighs 20 pounds or more even and is a bruiser. The other orange nutcase weighs 16 pound and can jump up stuff real skilful! It likes hanging off a coat hook on the door by its arms. Not sure why- just sort of hangs there like a bat all still! Abit strange but funny. Unsure

hhaha above pic^^
- is impossible for me to watch any motocross or football or any TV come to that when the cats are there. They go crazy when the racing / Football is on- chase the riders and attack them as well as the football... in fact any movement they attack.
Have totally given up trying to watch TV since they arrived! Shocked

Lol it’s funny because none of then have been remotely interested in the tv until recently. Pickles has been all over it since we upgrade from 55 to 70!

Sabrina, she’s about 3 years old now. Girlfriend got her from a shelter.

She used to hate being a lap cat, would love to play and sleep at our feet. But lately she’s been a full on snug bug. I’ll be on a call at work and she just hop in my lap and pass out.

I am fairly new to cats. Does anybody have a solution to the cat shredding / unrolling the toilet paper?

Keep the door shut at all times.

I thought of that, problem is neither of our bathrooms have a window, so our bathrooms get pretty damp and musty with the doors closed. She prowls around waiting for any opportunity and then kills it dead every time.

This is my cat Ty, who passed away on the same day as Kurt Cobain and Layne Staley (April 5th) I still miss him every single day, he was such a rad cat. In a room full of people he would walk around to each person and get some love. Ive been wanting to get another one but its so hard, nothing can replace him.

Chester has been known to give out a couple skibbity paps on multiple occasions. He’s missing a hind leg and has a massive chip on his shoulder/little man syndrome about it.
