The worst and dumbest thing the Repubs do for themselves now, is have DT on the ticket again in 2024.

Nothing will be solved in november. The ineffectiveness and partisanship of Congress will continue without any progress being made. Maybe you can cancel some more veterans benefits if it makes you feel good or ban some more books....... if you win.
The ONLY thing an election changes is WHO gets the money.

Cancel some more veteran's benefits? Are you talking
about the burn pit money? Why would the dems not allow an accountability ammendment? Then it would have past.
So an ammendment to make sure the money actually went to the veterans was a bad thing?
Trump actually is/was very pro military. He got the VA to give much better medical care than any other President cared about in a long time. I think you'll find much more support for Trump in the military ranks than (insert any dem name).

"Toomey insisted upon objections to what he claims is an effort by Democrats to free up $400 billion in existing funds already being used for veterans by shuffling the money inside the budget to use for unrelated purposes."

As someone outside of the US can I just say I find it insane that anyone has faith in either side of the political spectrum in America. All of your politicians are brazenly corrupt and there’s enough history lessons in the 21st century alone to prove this.

Nancy Pelosi doesn’t care for the average American, Trump doesn’t care for the average American ect ect these are business people taking you all for a ride at the end of the day and you choose to rip each other apart instead of the actual scum who are stealing for you.

Well, you need to think of it from a different point of view.
You're not voting for a person, you're voting for which person will move the country in the direction that things will get better. So if you're a transgender person, you'll vote Biden. If you have a family to care for, you'll literally vote anyone else, even if the choice were Elmer Fudd, who BTW couldn't have gotten things this bad.

As well as what TM said, you are comparing a Professional politician (Pelosi), who has been profiting on her “service” ever since she and her husband invested in the wheel, after she voted for subsidies for its development, to Trump, who made his wealth in the real world, and actually lost money as president.

If you think Trump doesn’t care about our country you are mistaken. He comes across a bit hard to take, but he had nothing personally to gain by taking on the headaches of being president. And we can easily now see how much better we were with him in the office.

He(and other screaming Dems) obviously doesn't understand the situation regarding the PACT Act, which can happen when you get your news from Jon Stewart. In fairness, it seems that can happen with any of the "news" you see today.

Incorrect. He was banished because of the big lie and the Damage done because of it. Something he continues to perpetuate. This discussion is the perfect example of why. Communicating lies directly to his supporters is what got him bounced and rightfully so. Some people just don't get it and never will. I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt if there was something.... anything in the way of evidence to prove what he says is true. But there isn't despite everything. As incompetent as Biden and the Dems and the lefties and the progressives and the Socialists are you wouldn't think they would be able to suppress all of this supposed evidence that proves his claims to the contrary. But let's be honest you and I both know he lost and so does he which speaks to his character or lack of same. I'm not sure what that says about people who continue to believe it. The fact that they bounced the lying POS is no great loss. Stop trying to make excuses for someone who doesn't deserve it.
I just saw this in my promotions email folder. I address this later no time right now.

Nothing to gain by getting the most influential job in the world?

Do you really think there is that much difference between a “professional politician” and business person? How many people from the business world come in and out of advisory/treasury roles? When your economy collapsed in 08 who got bailed out? The politicians bailed out the business/CEO class not the average American.

None of them care about you.

It’s incredible that a man born into extreme wealth has convinced a country that he cares for the average person.
It’s even more incredible that Biden - a man who is barely coherent is your president.

It's funny all 25 Republicans, and it was only Republicans who voted against this, had voted for it in the senate in June after consensus bipartisan support. What happened? More partisan bullshit as I mentioned in the quoted post above.

Trumps life was as good as it gets before he went thru 4 years of partisan hell. So yes, for some people getting the most prestigious job in the world has a LOT of advantages, but I don’t think it improved his situation one bit.

And the difference between a professional politician and Trump is that the politician is in it to make money, and can easily be bought. That’s how they spend a few years at $400k a year and end up with hundreds of millions in the bank.

The Billionaire can’t be bought. Trump donated his salary, and stopped a lot of his business ventures while he was in office, which cost him money.

Was it a stand alone bill… or was part of a package with other bullshit thrown in dems knew they could play as a card by saying, “see, republicans turned this down”?

You've done nothing to prove what you're saying in this thread, all you've done is call people naive and throw out partisan barbs like you're somehow on the correct side of the political spectrum and everyone else is too dumb to realize it.

https://americanpigeon.org/republicans-refuse-support-400-billion-democrat-provision-pact-act/

And before you go screaming about how "you know..." pay attention to the date of the article linked above (August 1, 2022) and the second paragraph (The pork under question is allegedly a $400 billion provision that would allow Congress to spend on unrelated programs; however, as of now, Congress has not released the amended text to the public, which has only added fuel to an already tense spectacle as veterans are protesting in front of the U.S. Capitol).

Exactly... if the benefits for our vets were so important, why are they trying to add a $400 billion for totally unrelated spending? Why not just pass the PACT Act to help vets?

You guys think you are in the majority in this country.

You're not.

Most of the country votes Democrat. That's a fact.

Only 1 republican presidential candidate has won the popular vote since George HW Bush in 1988, and that was W in 2004.

Trump lost the popular vote both times he ran.

He has a snowball's chance in hell of winning the presidency in 2024.

But carry on!

Trump will absolutely mop the floor with every current Lib nominee. American citizens are inherently lazy, but as anyone with a brain knows, the 2020 election was a complete sham and you will see record high voting turnout so as to ensure it doesn't happen again and it will be a breathtaking landslide against whoever they replace Brandon with (as we all know that senile bag of bones is not running again....hell, his own party is trying to put him out to pasture)

A majority of voters have an unfavorable opinion of President Joe Biden, who would lose a rematch election with former President Donald Trump.

A new national telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports finds that, if the election were held today, just 40% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote to reelect Biden, while 46% would vote for Trump.

I guess the asshole Republicans really were playing politics with veterans benefits. Bad optics, change of heart? The Senate just passed PACT Act without any changes whatsoever from the last time it was approved in June. I’ll await your clarification on that.

I guess the asshole Republicans really were playing politics with veterans benefits. Bad optics, change of heart? The Senate just passed PACT Act without any changes whatsoever from the last time it was approved in June. Guess those bullshit reasons they came up with yesterday we're just that, spiteful partisan bullshit. High five. Laughing
You might want to unlock your lips from the collective of Democrat asses your smooching, climb down from your high horse and read the breakdown of this bill that Hunter Seven posted* to their website...

https://hunterseven.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/MEDICAL-CONCERNS-PACT-ACT.pdf
Brief synopsis; the Dems aren't the heroes you want them to be...

*This was posted a few days ago. If they update the site with a breakdown of the current bill that was passed today, I'll update.

“Asshole Republicans” Grinning

So, the Dems are our saviors and we should blindly follow them down their rabbit hole?

Classic!

Go check out their “Anti-Inflation Bill” that raises taxes on Energy and empowers more of this ongoing liberal insanity.

You’re making this too easy and waaaaay too entertaining.

You sit their and make the accusations towards others…dude, just stop. You’re better than that

The asshole Republicans remark was in regard to a comment made earlier by someone in this thread about "surely the Republicans weren't just being assholes when they vetoed the bill". I'm sorry but it looks like they were. Otherwise how do you explain this total back pedal with no changes to the bill that suddenly got passed again? Who's drinking the Kool-Aid now? You guys love to sling it around but you really suck at admitting when you're wrong and I don't really need cut and paste right wing articles from several days ago to tell me that. While we're at it let's stop trying to change the subject about the anti-inflation bill, that's another subject, but then so is this. We were supposed to be talking about January 6th and the Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security destroying evidence but every time you come out on the wrong end of the narrative you try to change the subject. Typical.
