Saudi Arabia has been getting real for a few decades.

15 of the 19 hijackers for 9/11 were Saudi. I just wish information was declassified so we civilians could finally know how much, if at all, people within the Saudi government knew.

You got way bigger balls than me. I wouldn't step foot in that country. Seems like a good way to get your head chopped off.

I never felt threatened in any way when I lived there at all, fuck I've been in worse situations in the US than over there. Do you ever roll into the wrong property in West Virginia, Pennsylvania or Ohio? Those Rednecks will cut your ass.

My buddies are good they are in the Philippines on days off right now thank goodness.

My uncle worked in Lybia for a few years. Every day, the Lybian guards would check them all out leaving their compound like Russian customs.
Then the same coming back.
They wanted the Americans to know who was in control.

Then one day, a couple of F-111s fired a few missiles into Qadaffi's compound.

The next day, the guards were chill. "Come on through, boys". Both ways....

Huh, who's the big bull in the pasture?

So the Houthis in Jemen have taken responsibility for the attack, and Pompeo is pointing at Iran. Is he trying to say Iran funded the attack by the Houthis, or just being hell bent on Iran being the sole perpetrators? I’m on a motorcycle south of Hanoi at the moment so news and wifi are hard to find. Anyone have a quick recap?

Well where are Yemen’s going to get cash outside of Iran? They have no economy at this time. Enjoy Vietnam, I loved that country.

the amount of Bombs that Saudi with US support has dropped on Yemen it was bound to happen, as to who funded it and supplied the weapons, Iran seems like the easy choice, but a lot of people would like an invasion of Iran, so its probably not that simple,

and its been a clusty fuck in that region for most of human history, just the weapons are getting more hi tech,

Thanks, it’s my second time here riding the country on a motorcycle. Absolutely love it!

Back to topic, I understand the Houthies would have to be funded somewhere. But to my understanding they don’t have a direct link or evidence Iran was involved...?

It's all about the increasing the price of all. Sometimes they have to create supply disruptions to get prices to go up.

What I question is who is backing the Yemen Houthi's? Yemen is by no means a world super power, yet they continually demonstrate the use of very advanced warfare and military equipment. Is it too far fetched to think the world's oil tycoons are funding the Houthi's in exchange for attacks on Saudi oil positions? If they spend $100M to carry out an attack, think about their potential ROI when crude prices spike post-attack....

It's all business and money one way or another

I read that supply-side disruptions may not be too bad a thing at this time, since demand is relatively weak. I guess we'll see when the markets open tomorrow.

The Saudis and Iran have been in a proxy war for years in Yemen and Syria. These strikes are similar to drone strikes out of Syria and Lebanon from Hezbollah camps. There is Iranian IRG acting as consultants in each theater. Anyone shocked by this hasn't been paying attention.

Laughing

There's video of the them, Iran, pulling a dud bomb off a ship not a month ago, which they still deny.

Maybe it was just some kids messing around. Grinning
