Selective Catalyst Reduction and Clean Up Catalyst

Any of you guys familiar with this stuff? Scooter? If Im reading right, the days of EGR, EGR coolers, DPFs and Regens may come to an end soon. One device on the exhaust only that meets both Tier-4 and Stage-5 rules.

I'd heard from some service guys about this technology, and also that Europe was already past using Urea. I believe the emission standards are about 4-6 years ahead of North America's, so it's been a "proving ground", as it were, for this technology. It'll certainly be welcome, in the respect to repair costs, and downtime. Damn, these new engines and emissions controls are a nightmare.
