I missed Soundgarden visiting Houston by a week or so due to the "suicide".

I also liked Oasis.

Everclear was around the same time as Oasis. Not as popular as Oasis but this is one of my favorite songs by them. This was always in the deck when we out in Cali racing.

A lot of the Indian casinos are always booking groups you might have forgotten still tour. Loretta Lynn was still touring at places like Choctktaw in Oklahoma no more then a year or two ago. I'm only a few hours from the Oklahoma casinos so I always keep an eye on who's coming to town.

I took my wife to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers back in June, I was waffling because the tickets were outrageous but really glad we went.

I really wish I would have gone to the Offspring, Pennywise, and Bad Religion show a few years ago. Three of my favorite bands by far and it would have just been epic, too bad nobody I know likes the same type of music as me.Sad . I've seen videos of all of them live and damn do they sound good, especially Bad Religion they seem totally on point.

I got to see everclear perform a free show at Tower records in Richmond VA back in 95' I think when this song first came out. Talked to them after they played and they ended up putting me and my girlfriend on the guest list for their show later that night, they were opening up for Filter. Went to the show and after they played they took us backstage and let us hang out at their tour bus. Awesome guys.

The night before Oasis played Glastonbury in 1995 they played a secret warm up gig at Bath Pavillion to about 800 people, I got a tip off and managed to get a ticket - I was still only 14 years old at the time Woohoo That night they played 'Morning Glory', 'Roll With It' and 'Hello' for the first time ever!

Then in '96 I went to see them play in Cardiff - just a month before that legendary Maine Road concert posted above. Look how cheap the tickets were!!! I've just paid £80.00 to see Pearl Jam at the O2 in June.

I was more of a grunge/punk fan in the 90's but Indie bands were far more accessible in the UK so I went to plenty of gigs and Oasis always blew your fucking socks off. I hated Blur with a passion (though that hatred has softened slightly over time)

A friend and I had tickets for Green Day in 1996 or 97 but they cancelled. Not getting the chance to see them play in the heyday is probably my greatest musical regret.

Not being able to see Breaking Benjamin in the summer as my Mrs was heavily pregnant and she forbid me to go as she would have been too jealous Grinning

Wanted to see Marilyn Manson this month but tickets weren't available to the public on the day of release. That was pretty gutting too.

Another one that sticks out as a regret is when I went to see Muse, and managed to lose my group of mates right before it kicked off, so I ended up watching the gig with a load of randomers haha still worth it, but probably would have enjoyed it more if I was with the people I knew!

edit:

Try to forget this, but realising The Offspring did an Ixnay tour in London and I didn't know about it until 3 days after the gig. I could have cried.

Ahhhh....regrets....looking thru my High School yearbook online last night.

Found a half a dozen regrets, some things I just didn't pursue, mostly from lack of confidence.

They're called Sandy, Linda, Terri, Donna, Karen, Cindy............

Seen Rise Against in 2015 with Linkin Park. It was a really great show, never heard much of Rise Against until I purchased the tickers for LP and seen who was with them and looked them up. Now Rise Against is one of my favorites
