Apparently some people have experienced some of his gang members (Sadie Adler, John Marston, etc.) disappearing in Chapter 2.
The article said the following:
“If you completed the mission ‘Polite Society, Valentine Style’ at the start of Chapter 2, but needed to use the Retry Checkpoint feature, then Sadie, Jack, John, and Abigail will only appear in camp when they have missions for you to complete.”
In the meantime they said to keep Sadie, Jack, John and Abigail from going missing to do the following:
“In order to experience all vignettes and conversations, players must complete the ‘Polite Society, Valentine Style’ mission without using Retry Checkpoint. If the player fails any portion of the mission they should abandon and restart mission, or load a save before the mission failed.”
It then said that if it’s too late to go do this, you will miss some key interactions but that your ability to progress in missions won’t be affected. Apparently all four characters are back by the time the 4th chapter begins.
Have any of you experienced this or even noticed they had gone missing?
Like I mentioned, I'm not sure if it's been fixed or not but if not Rockstar is currently working on a fix.
Best song of the soundtrack in my humble opinion. Never heard it in game though
The Shop
i have come across some cannibals in the hills, again just little random encounters. a lot of times i'll sneak up to camps and just sit there and listen. it's pretty crazy how fleshed out even random NPC's are.
my favorite random encounter so far has been in the North East by Butchers Creek area. i set up camp to sleep and was met by a cutscene with two Murfree boys claiming it was their territory and threatening Arthur. they warn me as they get on their horses and the cutscene ends. i gunned them down and immediately after Arthur says "I'll camp wherever I want"... it was awesome
May I? Stand Unshaken
Just a little thing but has anyone bumped into the meteor house? Very amusing.
how about the cabin with the Grizzly inside? lol killed my ass as i didn't expect it what-so-ever. also i think i've been killed at least a few times by bears and countless times by cougars. cougars are fucking ruthless and near impossible to get away from if they pounce you.
Just played battlefield 5 multiplayer and not super happy. To fast and a blur like a few releases back. Closer to black ops so far.
I bring them food and money, do the chores if available. I only have one story character active, located in blackwater.
also, watched Ballad of Buster Skruggs last night and absolutely loved it
Pit Row
Oh yea I stuffed him off his horse a few times while riding in groups. Ha Good times.
i wish stealth was a little better in this game. seems like in the dark they can see you behind a tree in the bushes from like 50 yards and then everyone knows your location.
Edit: I guess just not in San Denis I can't but worked elsewhere.
(i'll try to leave spoilers out)
1- Herbert Moon is the General Store owner in Armadillo, he was in the first game and he was hilarious
2- Herbert Moon's brother is buried in the cemetery where you meet Seth the grave robber in the first game
3- Armadillo is... different
4- Gaptooth Ridge is a ghost town and Tumbleweed is flourishing
5- i came across a newer house around Gaptooth Breech and as i approached it it blew up like something out of a Michael Bay film. i searched around and couldn't see anything, it was really weird
6- Herbert Moon in Armadillo has a picture of the Strange Man behind his register (think "I know you" top hat man from RDR1 towards the end, stranger missions)
7- wild Mustangs are insanely hard to tame
8- i came across a Del Lobo gang member that was so drunk he couldn't aim the gun at me and ended up shooting himself in the foot, it was pretty damn funny
9- pretty much all the towns from the first game are completely different in this one, in really cool ways
