He was definitely one of a kind.

When I was with Reynard Racing Cars and used to fly on the Indycar team charter flights, Robin would always come aboard with a couple of boxes of Long's doughnuts (a local delicacy!) to share with the guys.

He was on 'our side' during the Split, and caused a lot of grief for himself with the IRL guys, but they soon forgave him.

Good guy, and will really be missed around here!

I would see him in the paddock while inspecting our hardware and he would say, "What are you guys at Metalore up too now?"... then wink, smile and walk aways with a hop in his step looking back while shaking his finger lol.

He will be missed.
