The day had to come but who is on deck...that ain't got a shit ton of baggage? I know our Brit friends are a mixed bag about the monarchy but I think most would agree...she was a Royal Oak.

Yep and she had 14 more since.

The Monarch before (and now after) had baggage but she never carried any. As Monarchs go she was universally admired in the UK.

May she Rest In Peace.

The Queen was born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, in Mayfair, London, on 21 April 1926. Remarkable lady she was and the journey of life she experienced is huge.

Her loss will be deeply felt throughout the UK and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world."

Condolences to all you United Kingdom folk that are member here.

RIP, pretty outstanding life. Always been a constant in a pretty turbulent few years.

Lets hope King Charles III isn't as awful as the first two.

The Queen met with 13 different U.S. presidents....and was a pretty good mechanic back in the day.

Haha that reall made me giggle, my sister's ex used to work in the royal service and was also quite close to her at times, he told similar stories. After all they are all human.

Side note, I've stayed at Buckingham palace a few times in the servants quarters

Back when she visited little old Lismore (Not my photo I wasn't even a twinkle in my dad's eye at that stage)
(not so) Fun fact she would've been standing in water up there during our last flood

Not a big fan of the monarchy but it is sad that almost all of the WW2 generation is gone. She enlisted and served as a mechanic during the war. RIP
