Oh man, so sorry to hear this. I grew up on the Sean Connery 007 movies. My mom took me to see Goldfinger when I was 7 because she knew I would dig the Aston Martin in the movie. Then for that next Christmas I got one of the Corgi Toy 007 Aston Martins. Wish I still had it. Then my mom took me to see all the earlier James Bond films because I liked them so much.

"You're playing both sides" is one of my favorite lines from any movie ever. But it's only great because of Sean Connery's ability to make it great. He was the best. Damn shame

When I was a kid, the only action movies I was allowed to watch were 007. Dad, my brother and I whatched them every Friday. One film started on Swedish TV and ended right before Norwegian TV aired another. - every Friday. So two different JB’s every Friday. Even back then I felt Sean Connery was the best and most suited 007. So freaking classy and cool, seemed natural.
When The Rock came out many years later I immediately recognized the lines taken from his old 007 movies.
A huge loss!
