Another Kershaw fan here. Been carying them for a little over 10 years. Had a Leek for a while but found I was always babying it because of the fine tip though I never broke one. Now carry a Shallot and its plenty beefy. They take and hold an edge very well and have a lifetime guarantee. Ive also carryed a knife every day since jr high and use it pretty much every day for something or another. And speaking of things always in your pocket, I never leave the house without a flashlight, another thing I use everyday for something and dont know how normal people get by without them haha.
I love the Kershaw Leek. It's my most commonly carried pocket knife. I know what you mean about the tip, but I love the surgical prevision you have with it. I've effortlessly dug many wooden and metal splinters out of my skin with it.
