Problem....

The Flat Earth thread is missing and its not in the Hall of Fame or even mistakenly placed in the dumbgeon.

It wasn't even political!

Now the truth will never be known...

I asked you a question. How come it`s pitch black outside right now where I am and it`s bright daylight where you are. If the earth is flat shouldn`t we get the same daylight time?

This vid explains the theory better than I can(give it time or fast-forward):

How come I see Sun slowly disappearing on a horizon every night. It shouldn`t be happening if earth was flat.

How can you explain midnight sun, polar day, polar night north of arctic circle with that video? It shouldn`t be happening if the earth was flat.

The animation in the vid shows it.

One of the flat earthers still needs to go fly a drone over the edge of the earth and just post the vid on youtube....

Something tells me that if you were taught from the time of the first toys dangling over the rail of your crib that the Earth was flat, you'd say the same thing if I said it was a sphere(ical-type thing). Which, I guess is the point of all this. You or me or anyone know nothing firsthand but what we were told to believe by others who had firsthand knowledge of nothing. In that instance, EVERYTHING is a theory. This is fun though Cool

I could go for a simple(and logical) explanation of how the gas in the atmosphere is in near-perfect sync with a planet doing hundreds and hundreds of miles an hour.

There was in a previous thread, but you chose to ignore it.

Why does the sea have tides and lakes do not? Does this support or hinder the flat earth theory?

You should pay attention to the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and note the shadow on the Moon. I noticed it made zero about three or so weeks ago as they were both on the same horizon, about 30 degrees apart, and there was still a shadow on the Moon! No joke.

Lakes do have tides.

To further prove the earth is round (I'm actually amazed I just wrote that in 2016) the average distance from the crust to the center of the earth is roughly 4,000 miles from any given point on the crust. If the earth was flat you would see huge disparities of distances in different locations.

Oh and we have photos like...
