I would like a new series to watch.

I like comedy, action, fantasy, whatever as long as it is well made. Miniseries or something that runs over many seasons, I like both.

Some examples of what I have seen and liked: Game of thrones, Breaking bad, 24, The Wire, Everybody loves Raymond, Seinfeld.
Please recommend if you have seen anything nice!

Thanks in advance!

Anyone seen Boardwalk empire? Is that any good? Sounds like it could be something judging from the the people involved.

Boardwalk empire is pretty good. Worth checking out, but I haven't been as drawn into the characters enough to get really interested.

If you haven't seen it yet check out Entourage. It's not what I'd gritty or hard edged but it's a fun watch.

You shouldn't use that stupid glowing box for anything other than watching races. All the other shit on there will rot your brain.

Justified is great, it just stinks that it has had short seasons so far.

I loved Rome (HBO/BBC) and I Claudius (BBC) - obviously not comedies but both have plenty of action, back stabbing, murder etc. Though each captures the history and feel of Rome in very different ways.

The Sherlock series on PBS has been great.

A couple of older ones are X Files and Monk (very different). They tend to work for a person or not, and you'll know pretty quickly.

Yeah, Justified is real good. I really enjoy Fringe but it's on it's last leg but if you can watch it from the beginning(past episodes) you would love it.

I really like Nikita also.

Agree on Fringe. Stepping in now woulld be way too confusing, but from the start would be good.

Longmire just started on A&E. Watched the first couple episodes and I think it's got potential.

I just checked out the beginning of episode 1 of Longmire on demand. looked interesting so far and they played some Steve Earle so the producers know good music.

It’s really very simple.

It might be on Fuel, unless it’s on NBC Sports, unless of course it’s been moved to regular NBC, in which case it might be postponed for golf or figure skating in which case when you get home from the track and flip on the DVR to watch some moto you’re gonna be pissed.

No big, just wait a few days and watch in on the archives at allisports.com. But stay off of Vital and don’t talk to any of your friends unless you want hear the results before the races are posted online.

See? Simple. Laughing

I'll +1 on Longmire.

Seems almost like he's got a bit of Chuck Norris in him too, at times...

Good choice. Soon you will learn to love and hate Boyd Crowder.

I love the main character on justified-Timothy Olyphant. He's a bad dude and a great actor. I got a man crush on him.

Mad Men is my favorite by far. Season's 1-4 are on Netflix now. I highly, highly recommend it.

Dallas : The Fracking Years is terrible. I really liked Big Love for the characters and Sons of Anarchy for the action.

Firefly was only on one season, but a good Sci-Fi series.

There are so many good ones it's just a matter of what you get into from the very beginning and follow it the whole way.

To be honest, some may find this cheesy but Smallville was one of the best TV shows I have ever seen. I loved watching the young Supermans character develop. It was just awesome and it was a long running series. Very good writers and they ended it so good.
