Since were doing good food, not sure if I posted this before,
Start with some good thick bacon,

Potatoes in the waffle maker layered with bacon and cheese

wait till nice and crispy

Lay some perfect eggs and bacon on top
Enjoy

Not sure how done it is , I do them in foil and keep checking til it falls apart with a fork . You can get the meat off the bones really easy that way .

Someday i'll learn how to post pictures but till then i'll just have to write a thousand words. I had some ribeyes and a thick ass choice sirloin that had been in the freezer for too long (3 months). I had a lot of yard work to do so throwing them on the grill wasn't an option. I usually only put pork butts, brisket, chicken on the smoker but thought I'd give it a try with the steaks. All I had on hand was hickory (its a stick smoker) but it's pretty versatile so let er rip. Stabilized at 225 and tossed them on for 3 hours. OMG fellas....so juicy and just smokey enough. I'll try mosquite next time cause I like that tang on beef. If I ever learn to post pictures I'll show you my rigs...nothing fancy but they do work.

Just got mine in the mail sat. Tried it out yesterday, WOW. So glad I clicked this thread. If you click my "instagram" below, the process is in my story "by clicking the round avatar".

You notice anything different with ziploc vs sealing??

Looks great, glad I was able to inspire you!Wink

Never done them in a ziploc as I got the vacuum sealer at the same time. Vacuum sealed, guessing that the juices have no other option but to stay in the meat.

Shit, I see it now. At first glance I saw wood on the edge and thought you had a custom flat iron on a grill full of wood chunks. I've been thinking about getting a half inch plate cut for my grill. Long term plan is to build a custom grill/smoker combo out of fire brick. 4 rack smoker in the chimney flue. I was bitching about finances with the wife..."how can I put this much money in the bank and still be broke every month"? She calmly pointed out my car/motorcyle/meat bills....gulp...I could make another house payment on what I spend on those three.

My wife's Turkey stuffing with mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, and corn. It will put you in to a food coma!

And her home made chicken pot pies!!

When I first met her 20 years ago she couldn't cook to save her life. Now I will put her cooking up against anyone any time anywhere as some of the best food you will ever eat. This coming from a food snob.
