Dude got dealt some seriously bad cards. It's great for him that he has a passion and the ability to pursue it. And the mindset too. I hope he is able to get together with a band that could use his talents.
I've seen a couple video's of paralyzed drummers. One plays with a pedal in his mouth to hit the kick drum.
Blind people playing instruments is pretty amazing. I don't play any instruments but I'd imagine it's already technical enough to learn something with the use of all your limbs and vision. I can't even imagine not being able to see what you're doing.
It's really amazing what people can adapt to when they put their mind to it.
