Like the title says, what other hobbies do you guys have. Since we all have MX in common, I thought we could share what we do outside the sport for fun or as a past time.
Kayaking, fishing, drawing, lure making, aquarium fish to name a few for myself.

For some reason I couldn’t upload multiple pics. Here’s the squid jigs I make in the dark.

I do yard work as a hobby. Laughing I find it interesting learning about grass, soil, and soil nutrients, plus I just like the way it makes our house look. We just moved so the new house has a yard that looks like shit, but here’s our old yard. Literally felt like carpet when barefoot. I’ll be renovating the new lawn this fall.

Kids are my hobby! 3 little ones keep me busy, no time for all my selfish hobbies I used to have other than bbq’n and cookin. Before kids I was into a lil bit of everything. Shooting, camping, surfing, skating, playing drums. As the kiddos get a lil older I look forward to getting them into all the above with the exception of surfing.

Same here and sort of how I fell into the lawn hobby. I figured if I was already outside with the kids, I might as well get that weed. And those other weeds over there. lol It sort of went from there.

Mine are getting bigger too, so I’m excited to get back into some of the things I used to do and share it with them.

It’s been a shiiit winter so far, and with covid they’re limiting passes, so it’s been a horrible start to the season. But I’ve always considered myself a snowboarder that rides MX if that’s makes sense.

I’ve had friends and neighbors ask for tips/advice but when I start giving it their eyes just glaze over. Laughing

Asking “how do I fix my lawn” is like asking “how do I fix my bike.” Nobody can really help unless they know what issues you’re having. I don’t want to detract from this thread, but I’d be happy to help in another if you want.

I've pretty much stopped riding as ive reached the point in my life where I cant afford to get hurt, so for kicks I have my MTB, 4 guitars which im no good at, my favourate past time is my PS4 with the G -Force driving seat and the 2020 F1 game. A group of us have BW100 scooters and we often race around in a group for kicks. I read plenty of non-fiction and enjoy history documentaries. Then I enjoy deep sea fishing and also diving for crayfish and lobster. Basically the season of the year dictates what I do with myself.

Lastly, I'm a amateur gynaecologist...Whistling

I enjoy welding, wood work, brewing beer, squirrel hunting, fishing and cooking (mostly grilling and smoking stuff).

Shared this a year or two ago but this is the most structural thing I've welded.

Currently welding a bumper for the wife's Jeep since the old one went crunch on the truck's rear bumper that she hit.

Here's the brewing setup.

Judo, Jiu Jitsu, guns. Later this year I'm planning on adding Muay Thai to the list.

I chuckled at SEE ARE125's hobby; I despise yard work and it shows. Funny how people's interests can be so similar (moto), yet be so different (yard work).

Hunting, fishing and golf with my 13 year old son. He doesn't have a big interest in dirt bikes but he does look forward to High Point every year.

Depending on the season, hiking, alpine and ice climbing, cooking and baking, fishing, cycling, and music are my main hobbies

I play guitar. I'm actually far better on the instrument than I ever was on a motorcycle. (Well, at least when I've been practicing and my chops aren't shit, like they are right now!)

I'm also still finishing up my book about my friend who got shot in Mexico while prerunning the Baja 1000 and I ride MTB every weekend.
