Old 22 rifle

My cousin passed away from cancer this year and his wife wanted me to have this gun. My grandpa gave this to him years ago. Cool. Anyone know anything about this? Age?

Should be a rolling block like void said. You know the caliber?

That's a good little rifle for a kid to learn on. I put a lot of rabbit/squirrel in the freezer with a single shot .22 when I was younger.

Looks like that roller is worth anything from $250.00 moderate condition to $450.00 excellent condition.
Not that you asked worth, but Void already aged it.

Cool rifle. Rolling blocks are interesting pieces.

Nice .22. Put some holes in the Dr. Dazzle can and let us know how it shoots.

Don't let anyone touch it that doesn't have experience older rifles. Lots of "gunsmiths" out there with no experience beyond modern sporting rifles
