7.3 all the way. But I wouldn't put a 7.3 in my DODGE. Your crazy, bro.

Anyone ever see a Ford Durango? 1980 or so they chopped off the Fairmont and made this atrocity. Seen a really clean low mile one at a local car show a couple years back. Definitely a WTF moment as I had never seen one before then.

Love the 7.3 but there is a reason the 5.9 is done more often. More plug and play than the 7.3. Not that it’s my intention, but cheaper to build up as well.

Being a ford guy I wish I had not seen that.

It's very similar looking (front end) to the 1980 fairmont i had back in the day. Still to this day,the biggest piece of crap i've owned , the drivers side door would sometimes come open during turns , I used all my sick time one winter because of break downs Laughing good times.

Kinda like walking into the bathroom and your dad is standing there in your mom's underwear, lipstick, and high heels. You will never get over this sort of thing.

The 7.3 was good and especially the IDI but I will admit there is a reason Cummins are at the pulls more often then a power stroke.

Maybe I am old school but a ford should not have a dodge in it etc. The F550 is rounding 700,000 miles on a untouched engine.

Ford used Cummins for a period as an option. Listen, hate it when Chevy performance is in a ford and i am the same as you. It’s acceptable with a Cummins though

And took it home and parked it right next to his four door, engineering marvel, Ford Maverick.

The C, L and F650/750 had options for either a cat 3126 or Cummins.

Our '14 F350 6.7 is awesome btw

That is impressive. Not meaning to side track this thread, but I will admit my interest in the new Duramax.

I remember seeing one of those about 10 years ago in Vegas. Walking down the street, I did a double take when it turned the corner by me. I thought it was a custom.

Did a little research and found out they were built for the Mexican market. Ram front end, Durango quarters, and caravan roof panel and tailgate. Pretty neat for a factory build.

A tradition inspired by the early settlers called coo-chootings?
