This thing looks badass! I'm surprised at the relatively low cost of it too, when you compare it to a traditional E-Bike or other off-road wheelchairs. I know there are a few members here that are in a chair, does this just look like a gimmick or potentially something that could be fun and/or useful?

One thing I noticed is that it didn't appear to have a lap belt which seems like it would be helpful, especially if it is aimed towards off-road/trails.

This is awesome and something I will be looking into for my wife. We're outdoor oriented but are limited to what and where we go due to wife's muscular dystrophy. Great device!

It doesn't look like a gimmick to me. That thing opens up a brand new world for a lot of people. There's handcycles geared towards off-road, but this would allow you to explore things even further without getting tired or holding anyone back.

The fact that you can bring your wheelchair along is great. IMO, the price is very reasonable. I paid 4k for a handcycle that I don't even use.

Depending on where you live, it's also a great mode of transportation.

I would definitely wanna give this thing a shot. Going to need a lap belt though cus I'll try to jump it for sure.

Now if I could convince my insurance co that it's a "medical necessity" ...

That thing is neat. They should get one to Mitch at PC to test it!

Almost needs a 5 point for people who like to get rowdy!

JerryRigEverything is an awesome dude and his chick rocks!! They put in a cool elevator in their house, and when the hole was cut, she dropped herself down to the 1st floor and he caught her.

The attention this thing is getting, I would say buy one soon if you are seriously interested. Priced at below $5k I think they are going to get overwhelmed with orders.

Or wait for the V2 (if that comes out). Seems like they made a great thing offered at a reasonable price, I can only imagine they will be getting overwhelmed unless all their ducks are in a row for a first time mass producing company. Reminds me a bit of Stacyc.

For the record, I have no affiliation with this company. Only looking out for my moto bro’s.

I hope they make a small fortune for their innovation and at the same time help persons with disabilities have more independence.

Best post Ive seen in a long time, thank you.

If would definitely need a lap belt for that one.

It's crazy that they're getting 15-20 miles off of just one of the batteries. That's a lotta juice.

To be honest, this looks great! I'm really hoping that this can generate some attention and also some movement into the "wheelchair" business because if we're honest this isn't really a business where they are making big leaps in development.

The old ones still look a lot like what we are using now.
