A little background, I dIdn’t/haven’t researched the NRA , Beto or any politics really for that matter. So I found it ironic that this is an ad on a site where politics aren’t allowed?

I remember that too but like I said I haven’t been searching for anything remotely close. Just found it odd

It is a little disconcerting. I was looking at a few PS4 bundles the other day and all of a sudden they (ads) were coming up on damn near every website I visited.

While this rings true, this doesn’t reflect on any conversations i’ve had in a while. If that was the case it would be full of toy story, princess toys and dresses and the nearest park/playground locations ads.

Call me crazy, but I'm sure you are being listened to and targeted. I was talking about ratrods (the cars) and an hour later I was being targeted by a magazine about ratrods. Just weird.

You and the wife must have been talking about fake Mexicans for that Robert Francis ad to pop up. Off limits and you should feel bad.

This is true...some time ago I hopped in my truck and a message popped up on my iPhone that said “12 minutes to Menards”. That is where I was going...

I feel like it makes my life so much easier. I can be taking about something and my phone is like, "hey buddy, here are some recommendations based on the conversation you just had."

Plus, one day it can help keep bad guys away, it will be like, "hey buddy stop using those angry words. I went ahead and alerted the authorities for you, sit tight."

Yeah, that has nothing to do with Vital. Vital simply has Google ads on the site (as does almost every website in existence). Google ads are generated based on what their algorithms believe you’ll click on (which these days is largely based on your searches/listening to you).

I mentioned Maker’s Mark to a friend the other day and I’ve been getting Maker’s Mark ads on every damn website.

Who knows where it came from.
It seems this place is grabbing revenue from most every angle it can as of late.

They might be taking money from some company, as a kind of filler when they're out of moto ads. A company that just sends a check to be able and put up what they want.

Ivory soap, clear, clean and natural.
You need it.

Agian totally understand that. Happens to the wife and I all the time. The suggested ads on what you talk about as well as the quickest route to somewhere we talked about. Just never discussed anything remotely close to this. However I do watch the world news sometimes, fuck, thats probably it. The phone’s watchin with me. God damn. Ol Birdie Mae White was right, the drugs and the computers is gonna take over.

Phones do listen so it would pop up from any conversation that may have included words that would fit the ad. If I’m at work and say “the fucking saw just took a shit”
I will see ads for skilsaws the next time I go on my phone. The scary thing is the phone even knows what saws I use based on it obviously tracking my past purchases.

Say to the wife “I sure like those new Jeeps”
Ads for Jeeps all over the place

This is something I truly believe in with all my heart.

The best and worst invention of all time:

The "Smart" Phone. Dry

Yeah it's pretty handy to have a computer at your fingertips 24/7 but it's also made us very dumb as far as society staring at their phones 24/7 instead of communicating to one another like it was not so long ago.

So true. It’s turned so many into lazy zombies. It’s sad, but I don’t foresee it changing.

Ya, it for sure is. I try turn off all permissions from Apps but the sneaky fuckers are still listening. I don't like it but I guess it's part of the package.
