Spent the morning out on the ice with my son fishing. We're just gonna watch Netflix.
My son wants to get up early tomorrow and head back out fishing.

All of the Electrolytes help cut some of the hangover down.
When next day hangovers weren’t an option I used to wake up very early and go for a long road cycling ride. There was something about waking up still drunk and grinding out long miles that would diffuse the pending hangover headache. Maybe it was the post ride endorphins or bottles of Pedialyte stuffed in my jersey pockets and cages on the bike that came back empty.

Y’all be safe out there. It’s amateur night with a bunch of drunks driving around and texting.

Some friends coming in from out of town. Cooked and prepped my ass off all day. They should be here in an hour or so. Processed the herbs and butter for escargot and packed them in the shells ready to go. Made some molecular, liquid olives for martinis later. Blue cheese soup is on a low simmer, saltimbocca pork is ready to go in the pan and then served with mashed potatoes. Roasted asparagus and poached quail eggs on top. Deep dish apple pie and ice cream for dessert. Had a rusty nail and a scotch so far waiting for the friends to show up. Burn a little bit of Afghanistan's finest later, some jamming and then crack open the champagne! It's all good. Happy New Year all.

Just had a house full of family including first grandkid and nieces and nephews along with their kids.
Awesome to see the next generation taking shape.

Next time I am totally going to suggest we stay home and do the Netflix and chill thing.

No secret meaning to that term. Just means watching a season or more of a show, episode after episode until it's completed.
