Well, the knife finally came. Was hoping if would be here on the day of my son Colt's birth, but it worked out. Super happy with the craftsmanship and he even threw in some mosaic pins on the elk handle to dress it up for free.
8 inches and everything from the creation of the sheath to polishing the brass on the handle are by hand. Same knife and builder, but a bigger version that Leo carried in the movie Revenant. Pics are below and the last one is of my son Colt with his new knifes and his Colt .22 single action made in the 70's.

I even had a baseball game like darts but with Gil Hibbon throwing knives in my yard and it became second nature. My friends would tell me i actually could show up to a gun fight with a knife. Lol Its been awhile but every couple of years i would go stick a few when the mid evil fair comes to the park across the street from my nieghborhood and they have a knife throwing game. Good times.
