Just rescued a 2 yr old bull terrier mix. Shes had a rough go of it. She seems to be suffering from separation anxiety massively whenever i leave her alone. Besides that shes so sweet and affectionate its amazing.

Cant wait till she settles in and calms down a bit shes gonna be cool. She jumped clear into the truck when i was packing up so i didnt leave her behind. That's a decent jump with the tail gate shut shes athletic as hell lol

She looks adorable. Indeed, rescue dogs are very loving and sweet.

My boy GOAT *yes, he's named after Ricky Carmichael* is 7 and a rescue. Still freaks out and gets very scared/nervous every time a suitcase comes out. He knows we're leaving and gets very clingy. Well done though, she's a beautiful dog. You did a good thing.

That's so awesome, I recently lost mine, Java, after 8 years (she was a rescue) and am trying so hard to hold off a new one til after holidays, but it's tough. If you're in Ohio, this is a great source for rescues pawsandprayers.org

Leave a shirt you wore the previous day with her when you’re gone.
Our dog will always drag a shoe over to their bed and lay with it. The scent seems to give them some comfort but it doesn't help all that much.

This dog pulled the trim off the wall around the door. I don't just mean shes a little nervous i mean shes going nuts when you leave her. I crated her and she broke open the door and then pulled the wall apart some more lol.

That pic was the first time i left her alone for maybe an hour. Then she pulled another 2 feet of trim off the next time after breaking out of her crate. Again was gone maybe an hr.

Good looking pooch. Nice work. My daughter rescued a magpie chick off the road. My dog pretty much ignores it. Should be ready to release in a couple of weeks.

Try crate training them and put something over the top that makes I’d like going into a cave. They like it. Our dogs will go in and sleep
