You know I always thought Elon musk was a kind of a loon when he was like “oh yeah well we can have a whole civilization on Mars.” But now I don’t think that’s out of the question in my lifetime...I mean utilizing something like NeuroLink and somehow making everybody superhuman smart.....I mean we definitely will be able to be a multi planetary species. i’d love to work for Elon musk. Seems like he does everything in his power to break down barriers and make shit happen.

I think that’s the idea. And that’s freaking awesome. Also given people the ability to see without an optic nerve also really awesome. If that’s possible and it works, I mean anything is possible.

As cool as it is ,I'm not in favor of such technology going mainstream.

Transhumanism is already with us and we will see an explosion of tech capabilities in our lifetime that will begin with medical issues . It will seep into mainstream shortly after . The issues we face now over gender and race will seem trivial compared to the debates to come in the future over where to draw the line in regards to transhumanism and AI .

We already are trans human. We wear smart watches. Drag phones around and utilize devices that assist us in obtaining information far faster than we could without them. ...
