Sorry to say, but Im bummed. I wanted those overpaid thugs to sit and see what not having work was like. The NBA is unwatchable now.

My buddy rode with Rik at a few events in AHRMA. Says the boy has some speed. If not a little TALL for a MX bike. Makes me look like midget, and I'm 6'6".
Shame Rik never won a title. Doesn't lessen his legacy, but still would have been nice. He and Reggie Miller against the Knicks. THERE'S some street ball if I ever saw it. Man, those guys hated each other.

I wasn't much of a BB fan before the lockout and even less now. I would have just as soon they cancelled the whole season. The only games I like to watch are my son's High School games. They would be a lot better if they could get some decent ref's but ya take what ya can get.

The NBA regular season make no sense to me. I can't even care until the playoffs start, and even then only after the semi-finals. It seems like the regular season only eliminates 4 teams from the playoffs-seems pointless.

I'm glad Dallas won, but the NBA sucks now.

I wish all pro stick and ball sports would lockout for a couple of years. It's way overpriced.

So instead of 6000 games no one goes to or cares about we now get 3000 plus the playoffs.

The only way this affects me is more crap to wait through between football highlights on sportcenter

Yes. As are the agents and the owners. Haven't watched an NBA game in 20 years...could care less...let's see them get real jobs.

The AAU mentality is all the way to the NBA. The players get told they are the hottest thing since sliced bread from grade school on. They actually think they are the shit .
I stayed at a hotel once where a bunch of AAU teams were in LA for a big tournament. The kids were rude and acted like they owned the place. The coaches/handlers were just as bad. I guess BB will save the world.

The courting of players starts in AAU ball very young, it isn't based on my one incident, it is based on the watching Bball go from a team sport to an individual talent showcase. I follow my schools team pretty heavy, Reeves Nelson is being a total meathead prima donna right now. He is from a group of players "Oakland Soldiers" (AAU team) that seem to think they walk on water. It is a hot topic in college ball, the influence of AAU.

You can't teach height. I wish him luck !
All I am saying is the attitude of many players today is pathetic, I personally feel it is due to the change from HS being the showcase, to summer tournament teams being the way kids are seen. The tournament teams are a business, the kids are meat to them, anything goes.
