Hell yeah. That camera angle is making it look way worse than it is.

...I probably wouldn't do it clipped in, though. Shocked

Not really into fatal exposure stuff. Have done a few rides where there's always some tool that insists on doing something that could go fatal. And because one guy does it there's usually someone else that thinks they need to do it but doesn't have the skill to. Shit, just go play on the freeway then.

And if you know anything about geology, there's no guarantee the ground won't choose that time to let go. Not like you're on solid concrete. Every year a slew of idiots go off the edge because it gave way while they were trying for that cliff selfie.

Yep, I'm with you. I'll risk injury or even "possible" death (we all do when we ride, drive a car, or go out in public in Portland these days,) but I won't do something which is 100% death if you screw up.

Not sure about that. In my experience, helmet cams seem to minimize stuff like that.

That said, I don't like one-mistake trails...or one-mistake sports. I want the opportunity for lots of mistakes. Smile

I think the 360-degree warp is on. That's what I meant. Look at the horizon; everything looks like it drops off to the left and right. In real life, it's probably a lot wider than it looks. Still a steep AF cliff, but not a sheer drop one inch to either side of the guy's tires. No doubt the "GoPro Effect" makes it look easier, though.

...Oh and a PS for everybody - my friend did the white line (from the video I posted) this past weekend. Knucklehead.
