I might go to Indy again this year, but I won't be wasting any more time watching MotoGP on TV!
That made me a fan.
Yamaha's version seem to be a bit faster.
Really loving watching Valentino sticking it to Jorge. I'm not sure exactly what's going on there because Rossi was quite unable to get into Lorenzo's head before but, somehow, now, he's got him! A move to honda for Jorge? I don't know if he's showing the determination that Honda will demand of a rider up against Marc, on the same machinery (especially one that doesn't corner how Jorge likes to ride.) Seth's boy Crazy Joe is really killing it on the second line Ducati. He'll be a replacement for Cal next year if the Brit can't shut-up and toe the party line.
As for Vinales, he's got a big question mark hanging over his mental strength. After his 'melt-down' two years ago in Moto3, teams in MotoGP will be worried he might not be able to cope with the huge mental stresses involved with running in the ultimate bike class. When the big boys start messing with your head, any cracks will soon be apparent in the less than solid temperaments.
Changing the subject slightly. Has anyone been watching the BSB stuff now that it's being shown on U.S. TV now? I'd be interested to know what you guy's thought about it ( and how much you were being shown).
BSB is looking great so far, Shakey is riding like a 20yr old dont think even Alex Lowes could stop him right now. got a couple of fast Yanks over there too. James Rispoli is rinding supersport for The Prodigy's Keith Flint's Traction Control team on a GSX-R. 2014 Daytona 200 Danny Eslick is running for Ian Lougher Kawasaki in the Stock1000 class.
ILR Kawasaki is the "Official Kawasaki UK Stock1000 Team" but yet they didnt have funding to get Danny and Robin to Oulton...WTF is that shit. Danny was 8th in the championship after Brands, no one is stopping Danny Buchan anyways.
The ILR thing is not quite as you put it. Danny Eslick was originally contracted for the Brands Hatch meeting only but after the eighth place they took him on for the season. Then Robin Harms (the original rider) was banned for one meeting (Oulton) after punching and kicking Jess Traylor (while he was still on the floor!) following a coming together and crash at Druids Hairpin. So, I suspect that Harms money is paying for the team to race and if he's not there, then nobody in the team races.
Jess Traylor, Danny Buchan and Maslon Law were all members (and good riders) in our local MX club EASSC. Jess is now sadly, out of his depth and just chewing up money. Danny is a hell of a rider and it's good to se him back on form after last year's disaster and crash of confidence. He's easy to talk to but a bit 'full of himself' but that's not his fault as he's just a taller, slimmer and younger version of his dad! Mason is also a great rider, 2nd at Brands on the Superstock 600s and 7th and moving forwards till somebody else's crash took him off. He's also a great kid and will talk to anyone - also just like his dad!
I don't know if you saw this clip of Mason in action from last year.......
A lucky lad indeed but that wasn't him up and about in the clip he was down on the deck for a while. No harm done though, except to the bike!
that crash was scary looked like Tedesco this season, there was some huge offs at Oulton.
Simon Andrews destroyed his RAF Honda.
And Mason's crash was indeed like Tedesco's, only a fair bit faster.
Lot's of mayhem at oulton park....
Chris Walker in Free practice (sorry about the poor quality clip)
Yes they are close every year but this season is insane.
Miller is a beast when it comes to racecraft, i mean young rossi like!

Scott Redding suffered a crash in this session but was able to scamper away on foot, and seemed uninjured.
Marquez had a few "moments" in the session but they did little to dampen his spirit. He was able to break the race lap record late in the session and go fastest even though he's not looking his smoothest at the moment.
ENDS
That crash above is bad, but I think if I lived in Europe,I would still be road racing. The tracks here (for the most part,) are so incredibly dangerous.
The fact that Daytona hasn't had a major incident is a reason to rejoice. Either way, you can't depend on luck forever...I hope it lasts as long as possible.
I was standing right about where the bike hit the wall in 2011, and was reminded why I quit. Then again you could have crazy crashes in MotoGP, like what happened to Marco Simoncelli. Physics.
Jeremy McWilliams goes for a similar ride.

Marquez broke Dani Pedrosa's six year old lap record on nearly his first flying lap in this session. Throughout the session Marquez looked the picture of measure and calm, slowly getting off the bike in the pit lane, walking--not rushing--to his mechanics. Back on the bike he lowered his lap time until he was nearly in the 1:31s and more than a half second faster than anyone else.
"Can anything stop this kid?"
